Special Thanks:
We’d like to thank the following people, who at various times
have been instrumental in the creation of this album. In a
subtly chronological order, we’d like to thank: our
families of course, without whom neither of us could exist, Barry
and Ingrid, Herb and Janet ( our long suffering neighbours), Ryan
Dahle (one guitar lesson is sometimes all you need), Jordy Birch
(there at the beginning and he got it), Vince Tuckwood (always with
the supportive words), Jesse Smith, Jonas Fairly, Shawn Penner,
our backing vocalists: Barb, Erin, Phil, Jill, Sean, Joel, Hugh
Ellenwood (for your singing and your violin), Kildare and Jennifer;
Les Pilchak (another person who gave support when we needed it),
Ryan Henning, Gary Henning (count on your brothers for constructive
criticism), Rob Edmonds (I hope we can buy enough beer to repay
you for the artwork - your karma will be spotless for life), Mark
Maryanovich (such lovely photography), Nick Jones, Todd SImko, Paul
Schroeder (still influencing), our friends from myspace who’ve
been so constructive in our development and Dr. Edwin LaBounty (your
lessons are still learned). The world is filled with amazing
people, these are just a few that have helped us directly.
Musical
Thanks:
Additionally I think it would be fair to give some credit to a few
of the inspiring recording artists that have filled my mind with
so much great music: The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Queen, Led
Zepplin, The Police, New Order, Peter Gabriel, The Stone Roses,
The Happy Mondays, Oasis, Leftfield, Love and Rockets, The Dandy
Warhols, and Sigur Ros. Of course it would be remiss to leave
out Mozart, Beethovan, Handel, J.S. Bach, Chopin, Debussy and Stravinsky
as well, but I hope it doesn’t seem pretentious. They’re
in there too, it’s just you’ve got to dig pretty deeply! |
